A bit about me —
Hi, I'm Aakanksha — an engineer who found design and never looked back.
It started during a college internship, one accidental encounter with UX, and something clicked. Craft meeting technology, exactly where I wanted to be. From there, I started pulling double duty in college projects, writing code in the day, designing interfaces at night. Not because I had to, but because I wanted to understand both sides of the screen. That curiosity hasn't left me.
Today I'm a UI/UX designer at Weatherford, designing for people navigating complex, high-stakes software.
I lead with empathy, ship with intention, and I'm blunt enough to push back when something isn't right for the user. I'm looking for a team where design has a real seat at the table and where there's room to do work that actually matters.
Screens aren't the only thing I show up for —
I lead with empathy in meetings and occasionally with a mic — I don't mind a room. I'm also a black belt who does Bharatnatyam, which basically means I can hurt you gracefully. I hike, I've tried surfing (jury's still out), I write on Medium when I have something worth saying, and I eat everywhere and about everything.
